Actually, not everyone is cut out to be a manager of those people.
We stopped by a chain restaurant.
Very busy, and we felt the food was also slow getting out...for everyone.
WE waited 45 minutes.
A dad with his 4 boys sat next to us.
After about 30 minutes the youngest about 2 was getting hungry and bored.
He started acting out.
Their waitress walked by several times.
So did the manager.
My waitress cam by and I told her to tell the server to give the kids some rolls or crackers, that will hole their attention for a while.
A few minutes later the server did just that.
I got very quiet.
I was surprised that the server nor the manager had enough fore-thought to do this.
I have been in many restaurants where young kids bot bored or hungry. The server would come by with some crackers or a roll and the kids were then occupied.
It isn't rocket science, and it will keep the patrons happy.
2 of 3 tables that had asked to move actually walked out. They lost more than the price of a roll.
As for Real Estate, I always had some non-sweet treat for kids that came with parents...saved a lot of time and my client stayed with me.
